How can the next government fund and enable regeneration?

In partnership with ARUP, we recently hosted some of the best and brightest of Britain’s built environment to ask: “How can the next government enable and fund regeneration?”

With both main political parties making housing and regeneration core to their election pledges, our roundtable sought to cut through the bluster and rhetoric to eke out what will genuinely help Britain ‘build back better’.

Among those joining Chair and celebrated property journalist Adam Branson were:

  • Guest of honour Sir John Armitt, Chair of the National Infrastructure Commission
  • James Saunders, CEO at Quintain
  • Annabel Turbutt-Day, Senior Director of Corporate Affairs at Greystar
  • Alexandra Conway, Senior Development Director for Regeneration at Kier
  • Suzi Winstanley, Director at Turner.Works
  • Rob Sloper, LandsecU+I
  • Polly Plunket-Checkemian, Senior Direcor at Aletheia
  • Sir Stuart Lipton, Partner at Lipton Rogers Development
  • Simon Marshall, CEO at Valeamus Ltd
  • Stuart Harris, CEO at Milligan
  • Guy Butler, Director at Glenbrook
  • Katie Hickman, Director of Regeneration and Connectivity at East West Rail
  • Ian Tasker, Partner at Knight Frank
  • Phil Hardie, Chair at The Langham Estate
  • Polly Plunket-Checkemian, Senior Director at Aletheia

The event was the first in a series we’re hosting together with Arup across the UK this year.
