Woolbro Group receives green light on mixed-use scheme in Alperton, Wembley.

Nestled in North-West London along the Grand Union Canal, Alperton is fast becoming one of London’s most prized regeneration zones. Contributing to the Borough of Brent’s ambitious 2026 housing targets, Woolbro Group has been granted planning permission for the development of 100 new homes, 50% of which will be affordable, and 12,000 sq ft of commercial space.

As part of our role to enhance Woolbro Group’s reputation and profile, Coverdale Barclay secured positive coverage in various key industry media titles including Property Week and UK Property Forums about Woolbro’s latest milestone. This was supported by Woolbro’s own social media channels across LinkedIn and Instagram, strengthening its reputation as an authoritative property developer within the sector.

Inspired by the canal setting, the two buildings will frame a continuous public towpath, with views onto the canal. The commercial provision will create light industrial units, studios and managed workspaces for creative industries. Combining new homes with new workspace, the mixed-use scheme will support the local community by providing much-needed new homes to the area.

With Planning Permission now granted, work is due to start on-site in the Summer of 2021, with completion expected in 2023.
